The Arts in Medicine program is designed to transform the hospital experience for patients, visitors, caregivers and staff. Your support will help to provide supplies and experiences for our patients and families to participate in this healing program.

By supporting the Child Life program, you are helping to brighten the days of patients by making the hospital less stressful and more positive. Our certified Child Life Specialists could not do this important work with your support.

ElderCareLink to: Support ElderCare

ElderCare of Alachua County provides services that will build capacity, maximize independence, and enrich the quality of life for the seniors in Alachua County and North-Central Florida. Your contributions support important services such as meals, emergency response and adult day care.

Florida Recovery CenterLink to:Florida Recovery Center

Shands Vista Florida Recovery Center provides treatment, advocacy, education and research to individuals and family members who seek recovery from addiction. With comprehensive treatment and assessment programs for alcohol and drug abuse or dependence, the Florida Recovery Center helps patients reclaim their lives.

Shands at UF Nursing Research and Professional DevelopmentLink to: Support Shands at UF Nursing Research and Professional Development

Funds will be used for nursing education including conferences and classes, professional recognition for nurses, maintenance of a Serenity Room and Relaxation Cart as well as grants for nursing research for Shands at UF nurses.
